iCee™ is a spectral image product providing calibration using AAI’s proprietary Image Calibrator technology.

With this technology, spectral images, acquired by satellite or airborne sensors, are converted from digital number (DN) units to units of the material’s actual reflectance - automatically. Testing conducted by AAI using images with target ground truth yielded calibrated results within 5 percentage points of the material’s actual reflectance.

iCee™ spectral products have many benefits over ordinary DN spectral images:

1. Material spectral libraries can be used to identify imaged materials more quickly and accurately

2. Existing spectral applications are more accurate, uniform and reliable

3. Atmospheric artifacts are removed from a spectral image
